Central Wiro Calendars
The centre wire lets these calendars fold in half for posting, then open out to full size on the wall. Choose a 7-leaf postage-saver format from £2.48, or a 13-leaf Deluxe with heavier paper and gloss varnish.
Common questions
Common questions about central wiro calendars and how ordering works.
Each ready-designed calendar includes a dedicated advertising area, with its dimensions shown in the product specification. Usually, this is at the bottom of the date block for 14-leaf versions and at the top of the date block for 7-leaf versions. You can supply finished artwork or send us your logo, company details and wording for our studio to lay out and proof for you.
The open size tells you how large the calendar is when it is hanging on the wall. The folded size is how compact it becomes for packing and posting. Some of these long calendars are specifically designed to fold down into a cheaper postal bracket, so check the postal size shown on the individual product.
A wall calendar wire bound through the middle so it folds in half. Folded, it drops into a much cheaper postal bracket. Opened out and hung from the drilled hole at the top, it is a full size calendar again.
The 7-leaf versions put two months across each leaf to keep the calendar lighter and more economical. The 13-leaf Deluxe formats give each month more space and use heavier paper with gloss varnishing on selected products. Both still benefit from the folding central-wiro construction for posting.
You will still see a centre fold when the calendar is open, but it is designed to hang flat and be used at full size. The trade-off is that the calendar can be folded down to a much smaller size for posting. If you would like to see the finish before ordering, request a sample.
